Address by Baroness Masham of Ilton

On 2nd November, DUCA were lucky enough to be visited by cross-bench peer, Baroness Masham of Ilton. The Baroness gave a fascinating insight into the issues of disability politics and the workings of the House of Lords, before taking a range of questions from the audience.

Some of those who attended the address were kind enough to donate to a collection for the Spinal Injuries Association, a charity which Baroness Masham founded following her own paralysis to help victims of spinal injury to access the best possible care.
