Port and Policy - National Sovereignty and Human Rights

DUCA held the second Port & Policy event of the term in the beautiful and grandiose MCR of University College. Our members addressed issues of British sovereignty with an emphasis on Human Rights legislation, the influence of the ECHR on British sovereignty and the way which Human Rights impact on our society.

Port & Policy once again proved to be a fantastic platform for DUCA members to voice their political opinions. Special thanks go to Miss Jane Marian Rooney, who was a wonderful guest speaker and facilitator of discussion!
