Joint Conservative-Labour Question Time

DUCA and the University's Labour Club held a joint question time event which addressed the question 'Have we Failed the People of Syria?' The subject discussed was the ongoing Syrian civil war, with specific focus on the role that the international community has played since March 2011. We were pleased to be joined by a panel of four speakers with extensive knowledge of the Middle East and/or British foreign affairs, including a number of Durham Academics from the School of Government and International Affairs and the Law School.
